The Restoration Services Branch staff provides coordination and technical services for state and federal preservation grant-in-aid projects throughout the state. Technical services include architectural research, planning, and review of architectural plans and specifications. The branch also coordinates the federal and state rehabilitation tax credit programs in North Carolina. The branch advises building owners and their architects on application procedures and requirements for securing the credits, and reviews all tax credit applications.
